Control & Monitoring System in the Pipeline

SLOVNAFT, a.s. has invested in a pipeline control system that will enable them to centrally monitor and control the Nova Dedinka to Bucany pipeline.

CSE Servelec sro, a Slovakian-based member of the leading systems integration company, CSE Servelec Group, has been awarded a significant order by Slovnaft for the Slovakian pipeline project. The contract will see CSE Servelec configure, install and commission a new control system, which will include SCADA, PLCs, instrumentation and telecommunications.

The Bratislava based refinery has one of the most complex facilities in Europe and has an annual processing capacity of up to 6 million tons.  Production by the Slovnaft Group is mainly fuel, but includes other refinery and petrochemical products.
