IT Group Announces Major Acquisition
Sheffield based IT Group, CSE-Global (UK) Limited, is continuing its expansion through the acquisition of Systems Integration & Automation Limited (SIA), a local company which provides safety, protection and control systems to the oil & gas, power and nuclear industries.
SIA, employing nearly 50 staff and operating from offices in Sheffield and Aberdeen, provide a wide range of engineering and construction services ranging from conceptual design, systems implementation, panel manufacture and factory acceptance testing through to installation, commissioning and post handover activities.
SIA’s business will provide a base for CSE Global (UK) Group to further expand its existing activities within the oil & gas, power generation and nuclear sectors. In particular, SIA has a strong presence in the North Sea oil & gas sector, as well as established relationships in power generation. As a systems integrator specialising in the provision of technology services to the oil & gas industry, SIA is a close strategic fit with the CSE Global (UK) Group.
CSE Global (UK) Group annualised turnover exceeds £34 million and the acquisition of SIA will increase this by a further 25%. The expanded business will have a greater financial strength and engineering capability to target further growth and expansion whilst enhancing customer offerings.

CSE Global (UK), which currently employes over 350 people, is a member of Singapore based CSE- Global Limited and is responsible for representing and managing CSE’s activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
