Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust Completes Roll Out of National Care Record System
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust has completed its roll out of the RiO care record system to over 1800 clinical staff.
The rollout to Greenwich this month completes the deployment of RiO to all mental health and learning disability services in the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.
This trust-wide electronic clinical record is the product of 18 months of work between the trust, NHS London Programme for IT, BT and the systems' creator CSE Servelec.
RiO is a web-based care record system, supporting paperless clinical records. Staff have instant access to clinical records from any PC within the trust, allowing them to update on-line records in real time, at the point of care. This has the effect of considerably improving the quality of information recorded, enabling the trust to offer a higher standard of care to its clients. |
