Four More Mental Health Trusts Deploy NHS LPfIT
Electronic Care Record System

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, North East London Mental Health NHS Trust, West London Mental Health NHS Trust and Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust have all gone live with the RiO care record system in the last three months.

These trusts follow the successful deployment of RiO to South West London & St George's Mental Health NHS Trust in July.

The deployment of RiO, which is hosted from BT's data centres, is a major success for BT, NHS London Programme for IT and the systems' creator CSE Servelec.   The Sheffield based healthcare systems developer has a long track record in the delivery of clinical systems to the NHS with proven benefits to both patients and staff.

RiO will continue to be deployed across London's mental health and community trusts throughout 2006 and 2007, with over two-thirds of the region expected to be live within this timeframe.
